BUOYANT WIRE ANTENNA

The NEREIDES buoyant wire antenna, inboard or outboard according to the Navy requirements, is a turnkey system comprising a mechanical assembly for the deployment of the antenna and an electrical radio assembly ensuring the reception and transmission of data to onboard receivers.
It allows the submarine underwater to receive VLF, LF, HF, LORAN C and GPS communications. This additional capability enhances the vessel’s operational capabilities, increasing its acoustic and visual discretion. NEREIDES also proposes a HF transmission capability.
